Dunard Hostel, Castlebay

Hi, all.

Happy New Year.
Dunard Hostel has responded to my query and have confirmed 5 bunk beds are available. Accordingly I have sent a deposit. All we have to hope now is that the Calmac 2013 timetable for Oban/Castlebay is suitable.

    Calmac timetable for Summer now out..... and not very good!. The 15:40 departure from Oban on the Thursday still runs but it goes to Lochboisdale first and gets to Castlebay at 22:40. Ugh!!!
    There is an 08:15 departure which calls at Coll and Tyree, arriving into Castlebay at 15:00. My initial reaction is to stop over in Oban on Wed 22nd and catch this earlier ferry.
