Anyone else aquired Martin's cold from our trip?
Thanks Martin! I hope you're better now.
I also have tingling fingers (Ring and Pinky on both hands) which I have self diagnosed as Ulna Nerve Compression (checked out on Google!! ) at the wrist from holding the flat bars in one position for too long. A week or two off the bike looms. How will I manage the withdrawal symptoms?

Blame the Italians
ReplyDeleteI've still got a sore bum but I blame no-one for that!
ReplyDeleteI dont know about withdrawal symptoms. I break out in a cold sweat every time I see my bikes.
ReplyDeleteThe Venetian Virus has struck here. Damned Italians!! Yesterday wildly swinging feelings of cold and hot, today an increasingly sore throat. If Martin felt as strong as I do now and managed to cycle as he did for several days he deserves a Medal. Cycling in the foothills outside Cheltenham to take some photos of steam locos does not come under the heading of "Sensible things to do when suffering a cold".
ReplyDeleteFor an update on the consequences of riding when under par see the Derby Ranger blog.
ReplyDeleteI have been off line with broadband problems - all ok now. I had the cold virus as well and have now just about recovered. I have not been on the bike since our return home, so must get out before I loose all that leg muscle I have acquired.
ReplyDeleteSo, Keith, have you too succumbed to the dreaded lurgi, or are we two the only ones to have come out of this adventure unscathed?
