I have played around with the calmac website hopscotch planner and come up with the following schedule. I think its the best option to ensure we have time for a hearty breakfast before setting off each day and getting to our destination in time for dinner. Please feel free to comment if you think alternative sailing might be better. Perhaps everyone could print off a copy for reference to help plan daily start times. Travelling distances are easy to calculate based on google maps and various websites based around hostel/b & b name.

Sorry if its hard to read I could email out a copy for printing?
ReplyDeleteIf the insert is clicked, it becomes big enough to read. Does this imply that we can buy them in advance on-line? Clyde and I are on the earlier 08:15 service from Oban on 23rd.
ReplyDeleteI was advised by Calmac customer service that it was not possible to buy in advance cfor foot passengers. hopscotch 8 is the ticket required for hebrides south to north.
ReplyDeleteNorman of Calmac said that, so long as we get to the Oban ticket office at least 30 min before departure of the boat from there (first of our island-hopping boats), we can buy the Hopscotch 8 ticket there and then.
